I did the lighting and grip on all the interiors and grip on exteriors - a good workout for my lighting and dolly/crane gear. If you've watched the almighty johnsons or legend of the seeker, you may recognize the actress.

The slomo closeups of the piano smashes were my 550d and 7d, and i think one of the mid-sized piano hits was the 550d. (honestly cant remember).

Its pretty funny rigging a red and a 550d in the same shoot. A brick and a feather.

Really cool! I couldn't tell which was which on first viewing. Did you match the lenses?

No lens matching. 550d had an old raggedy nikon 80-200 2.8 (amazing glass, but impossible to zoom or pull focus while shooting) and the 7d had a canon 17-55 2.8 IS. (I freakin love this lens).

Red had a case of lenses. A few Red primes, and a few arri zooms.

The red obviously has the better image. No question about it. Its an amazing camera and I've seen some DPs do magic with it. At the same time, the 7d and 550d (t2i) continue to blow me away. I mean, to have something that could *ever* cut in with a red is pretty cool, but to have it for less than a grand is mind blowing. The extremely closeup piano smashes were all the 550d at 60fps 720. Converted to SD for the video, they look really sweet.

Some cinema primes would be nice though. It gets really old not being able to properly pull focus.
