Natural Gas TV Spot
For critique:
One of three natural gas TV spots I shot and edited this fall. This one is by far my favorite of the three: The others: |
Re: Natural Gas TV Spot
Nice videos, you can hear pop's with the "P's" on the VO's though.
And I would mention to them that they may want to change their name...SCUD is associated with missiles... ;) |
Re: Natural Gas TV Spot
They have absolutely no sense of humor about that acronym.
But thanks for the feedback. |
Re: Natural Gas TV Spot
Nice Matt,
What did you shoot it with? |
Re: Natural Gas TV Spot
Canon 60D with a Tamron 17-50mm F2.8, an adapted Nikon 70-200mm f2.8, and a Canon 50mm f1.8.

Re: Natural Gas TV Spot
Well done with the 60. They look like they were for broadcast. Did the local station give you any crap over the format or did you just send it to them digital? How did they hold up to the compression chain?

Re: Natural Gas TV Spot
Well there's a bit of miss-communication around that. When I accepted the job and shot the spot they neglected to mention to me that they were for web (which I thought) and for broadcast. I didn't shoot 24p or anything crazy, but obviously I would have preferred to been in the loop right off the bat.
Per the TV stations request, I ftp'd an HD h.264 .mov and that was the last of my involvement. I know the spots aired but I never saw them. I can only hope it looked okay in broadcast. |
