"Keepsake" Indie Horror Film on sale today!

Hey everyone, just wanted to make the community aware that the indie horror film "Keepsake" just went on sale today for $6.99 on Amazon w/ free digital download -Prime eligible. This was the very first real film I ever got the chance to work on (prop master), and it was a blast. The director and crew were awesome to me, and helped me realize a personal dream of actually working with a real film crew. Since then, I've worked with this crew as Script Supervisor, and most recently, Assistant Director, getting to work with horror icon Tony Todd, Jeff Fahey, and Danielle Harris. Many of the crew came down to also help me with my own recent short film I wrote / directed earlier this year. Thanks for your support everyone!

After seeing the film, I'm definitely happy with the way it turned out. It's a lot more cerebral then most horror films, and the characters are deeper and more interesting then most in the genre. There are some good twists at the end, but it's not one of those films where the twist makes the whole movie - the film stays interesting throughout, and pushes the audience to keep trying to figure out the puzzle of the main character. There is some brutal violence as well, so it definitely fits into the genre in that respect. I'd recommend this film to any fan of the horror or psychological thriller genre, especially if you're looking for something other then your typical mindless slasher film.

Watched the trailer. Very retro in style. The first half of the trailer drags a bit (probably on purpose) but the second half is up-tempo. Overall: the movie looks promising!
