A Canon XL2 practice video "Quadra 840AV"

I'm fairly new to video so I was poking around the house looking for test subjects and ended up making a quick video about my antique Mac Quadra 840AV computer from the mid 90's. Stock Canon XL2 and a cheap tripod.

I enjoyed your video and the music. Did you use the Quadra to edit it? There is some aliasing on the barcode about half way through. Was the XL2 in progressive mode? It looks like this was a good project to get familiar with video. Can you avoid the aliasing by either shooting in progressive mode or by applying a filter in post?

Although the Quadra 840AV does have the enhanced chipset for video editing, I used something a little less hilarious to do the editing. I actually did notice that barcode aliasing after I uploaded it online, but on the final copy on my workstation it doesn't do that. I'm guessing it is just a drawback from the re-encoding or whatever that happens when uploaded to Vimeo and Youtube. I did have the XL2 set to 30P.
