Family Day

Check out my new video I put together, Family Day - YouTube let me know your thoughts, and please share with others. To give a little insight, my father when to prison for a crime he did not commit. He spent over 15 years in there, I lost my whole childhood with my father. Now not every one in prison should get released but for most they are going to be coming home and if their is not something there for them they will just go right back. I will not bore you with all the stats and numbers, but on a personal level I know what it is like and want to make a change.
Thanks for watching

Re: Family Day

Blake,

Very thought provoking, something I've never had to confront nor even consider. Having raised two daughters mostly on my own, but in fairly 'normal' circumstances I've come to learn, irrespective of what a parent has done, their young offspring view them as their hero, well in the majority of cases. It seems that attitude lasts up until the offspring are ~13, depending of course on their background, some kids have to grow up faster than others, sadly.

Some points;

1. What is a TYRO class?
2. @ 1.00 I found it hard to read the script, maybe a different font would be better.
3. Recidivism, mate, excuse my ignorance but I had to look it up, I've never heard of the word!

I watched 'A Forgotten Victim' as well, interesting stuff.

Well done and good luck with your efforts.

Al
