Hi Justin, not sure if you have me confused with someone else. This is my first short, I've attempted one other, but never got to finish it. I do have some indoor footage posted on another site, maybe that's what you are referring to. It's all part of the same "short" though.

I'm self-taught and running the entire show. Directing, lighting, editing, SFX, etc...

I'm learning as I go and I have a LOT to learn. :)

Hey Mike. That was probably me rambling on because I just woke up. I just checked my post history and I saw another first video I commented on, which was not yours. Sorry for confusion, lol.

My First Movie- Heres the trailer.

I had a XLs for a very long time now and have done a few thing here and there. Its been dropped, frozen in New York, rained on in Japan, and super heated in Texas. With a broken lens assembly, viewfinder and a dodgy firewire port, its never been part of an actual production til now. Here is the trailer for my first movie.

I played the role of DP/Camera/Editor/Soud Design & executive producer.

With some ADR and alot of color correction to go. I wanted to give you guys an early first look of what we been doing for the past 4 months of pre, principle and post of production. This is really raw unalterd video straight from tha camera. No color correction has been applied since editing and sound scyncing has been the focus. Plus the bar part is being overdubbed cause of the loud ambience. With that said, please let me know what you guys think.

Demo Reel - Need Suggestions

Hey everyone. I put together my first demo reel for my website and anyone who asks for one. I need some input on ways to improve it, why you like what you don't. It's only 2 minutes long. The words are a little small, but that's just because it's only 320x240, it's meant for DVD.

Thanks,

I like the stop motion annimation and graphics. The people didn't make much sense to me though.

I also like Legos :)

Re-Did My demo reel

I don't have a lot of my own footage. Most of my work has been done for my employer but everything in this demo was shot and edited by me. Let me know what y'all think.

Cool, full of colour. I like how it's well synced to the music. I like the ferris wheel shot the most.

nice angles, fun style in your animation!

nice. good action. i too love that carnival ride shot - great lighting. i, personally, would drop that "...and strange" part at the end. the shot itself is way too long, and isn't doing anything to help the reel in my opinion. makes an otherwise professional-looking reel look less so. otherwise, looks good!

i almost stopped viewing it after 2 min - but i glad i didn't ... i found most of it a bit rough but under it all is a sense of humor that is very creative ... i think you should do some more and over time that humor/creativeness will come out more & more .. IMO you are on to something .. keep developing/refining the character ...

Don Donatello August 31st, 2006 09:27 PM

over all i liked it ... it catches my interest and i'm ready to see MORE ...
to knit pick i found from 36sec to 50 sec just not as tight/together as the 1st 35sec and end after 50sec ...
now don't get what i'm trying to say wrong - it is GOOD - just think the 36-50 seconds could be better ? not sure how?

Don Donatello August 31st, 2006 09:43 PM

and a very good 2 min ...
on the web it's hard to read the text but i assume on the DVD it can be read ..
IMO start sending out the DVD ...
keep up the good work ...
you planning to go into animation ?
special effects ?
