So, I got bored and made this short clip.....
 

I wasn't going to show this to anyone to begin with, but I thought it turned out pretty cool

Nothing complicated at all here, just a short slo-mo and some time-lapse video, very basic... it took longer to render than to edit!

Camera was a VX2100 tripod mounted in a Honda CRX, total drive time was about 16 min, video is exactly 60 seconds long. Camera is in full manual, 1/60 shutter (it gets overexposed in the middle when driving through some sunny areas). Used PPro 2.0 Demo, and some basic color filters... like I said nothing special

how did you mount the camera in the car? If you used a tripod, how did you keep it steady?

It's a cheap tripod, one I found at a local Wal-mart for $15. I used it because my good tripods are all too big to fit in my small car. I simply used some 25 lb barbell weights on the spreader to hold it in place. If I turned a really sharp corner or something it would tip over but level itself back out. Some have said using bungee cords offers some good stability, but I didn't have any handy. The weights worked pretty well, but I think a combo of weights and bungee cords would give the best effect.
