FX1 Test Footage
Hi,
I have a new pc and I've been doing a lot of tests to see how different compressions handle HD. Here a little test I did near my house that, IMO, came out pretty cinematic. http://www.stickypod.com/stickypod_u...bla%20win9.wmv |

Come on! 72 views and no comments?! Did you guys actualy download the video? I'm telling you, take a look at it.

mabe not too many responses because it's not a new look ... blurred blacks/crushed ...
the clip properties show up here as PAL progressive. i looked at it frame by frame and saw too many interlace frames/blended on the face for my taste ( perhaps you used blend for de-interlace method?) ... it is a very good look for the right project ... |
Maybe it's just my computer, but when I played the video it wouldn't play smoothly. I just got a new frame every 3 seconds or so. The playing bitrate was something ridiculous like 10,000kbs. Maybe the bit rate was too high for my machine? I don't know, I've never had a problem before now.

It's weird. I managed to find the footage on stickypod but now it looks like it cannot be downloaded (maybe I'm doing something wrong) and the point would be to see it on it's full size. Here, try it your selves to see if it works:

Oh, ok. I got it now. When you open the streaming video there's a place bellow it with small letters that says "This is a video, click on the thumbnail to download" and when you click it it asks if you want to download it.
