it was pretty cool. some of the cuts from one "scene" to the next didn't seem to flow even when I tried to put it in the caotic context it looks like you were going for. It could be that I just dont think the handheld shots work too well... I dunno, I could just be a total retard too. I liked it though. I like the TV shot and the shot of that pile of steel and concrete. The time lapse is cool but its soooo easy to do I cant really give it props.

It is quite disjointed because it is basically a series of experiements to learn to use my camera and editing software that I kind of made into whatever you call whatever it is that I made, and experimented with sound etc. So yeah, it's more disjointed than Princess Dianna after a car accident.
Hopefully my next project will be less experimental and more 'planned'.

yeah. I almost forgot the whole experimental part. but as far as camera work... handheld shots with dv cams in my opinion are rarely well done unless the point is to make tho shot all jittery and/or home-videolike. The next thing on my list of things to buy or make is a steadycam.

Me too. Just made a dolly that runs on tracks.
Wanna do a steadycam thingy and buy a fluid head tripod as my standard one is not delivering due to my excessive consumption of coffee or something... still way to jerky for my liking.

My 2 cents:
 

Interesting little flick. One observation (maybe specific to me because I'm low- middle aged and my hearing isn't what it used to be), I'd prefer if you lowered the music just a bit and/or upped the voiceover just a bit. Though I have the same problem in theaters...the music often overrides the speech...something that needs to be considered by filmmakers here in the States, what with the aging of our population and all.

Overall, I'd say your experiment was a success.
