It looks particularly interesting. It would be cool to see the whole things once it comes out.

One thing I really think you should consider while editing; colour correct for the mood. The opening title scene looks like it was untouched raw coloured video, and you may want to give the rest of your film a spookier feel. Here are some examples I created with your video.

For all of those, I boosted the reds, to make the blood more visible. I gave some a blueish tint, partly desaturated bright unrelated colours. Increased the red levels, blue levels, white levels, contrast etc. I adjusted colour balance. All of these factors will increase the style and mood of your short film dramatically. I highly suggest you look into colour correcting for this film, it will make it better.

Most editing softwares have all the option adjustments I mentioned above. If not, you could always run a batch edit through Photoshop (if you have it) and compile the frames later. Whatever you do, play around with the colour settings, it will make your film better.

Hey Pete, since i gave you some feedback on your last film seed i thought id give you some again.

I liked the edititing at the start of the trailer, i like that kind of jumpy editing it looks good and goes well with the horror look, you should use that style of editing with care though it can get annoying if you use it too much which you didn't so your ok there.

I have nothing bad to say about your camera work it was pretty spot on nice moves etc.

Lighting is a very hard thing to get exactly right unless you have a practiced DOP on the set, i'm still getting to grips with lighting myself. It seemed to me that the lighting was a little wrong for that scene, people may disagree with me and they are welcome to but in that particular scene i would have lit it from above and tried to get a good veriety of dark and light areas and cast some shadows just to make the scene a bit more sinistar.

But I would say you have a grasp as to what you are trying to achieve and you do have alot of potential so keep it up.

Hope this helps.

Andy.

Very atmospheric trailer, nice editing, cinematography...

Can I ask which camera you shot it with?

Keep up the nice work!

whoa, thats dirty. *gag

i like that you chose to put an axe killing in the teaser. Makes you want to see how gruesome the actuall film will be.
