Some great behind-the-scenes stuff!

What do you guys think of the stills. I must say, I love redheads (and by that, I mean these lights *grin*).

The stills look nice. I'm guessing you guys weren't going for a "film look", but it looks good. The lighting and camera angles seem good. But there's really not much else to say until we can actually watch it!

I thought the same thing as Chris. You can pull the viewer away from reality, if that is what you want, with a bit of color grading.

Yeah, those stills are very rough, we will be removing some colours in post and adjust the whites and the blacks. And, well, concerning the filmlook... I don't know. This is - for me - cinematic enough. I like the new fresh clean and sharp look video has (don't kill me). I like the framerate of film though, so I combine these two elements. No 35mm adapter for me, I like a shallow DOF, but it's not my biggest concern. It's storytelling :-)

The teasertrailer is online!

Enjoy, please post what you think 'bout it. Remember: it's Dutch, but it's all about the images.

Just a suggestion. If you are wanting to share with nonspeaking Dutch people you may want to use subtitles or dub the language (I wouldn't recommend the latter) other we don't know what is going on and thus cannot give you feedback, especially since you are much more of person concerned with story over "look."

In this teaser, there's not much story told...yet.

Simple translation (the four lines in the beginning):
-I don't want this anymore.
-Do you think I'm a spineless wuss?
-It's like my emotions are all over the place...
-I need a goal, I don't even have a name.

Hi Ivo

greetings from Belgium! Congratulations with making a feature with 7k, if you'd like to expand on that, it would be nice.
There isn't much I can say about the teaser, editing is okay but nothing really special, I also don't really like the video look, but I'm a sucker for film look, so...
Cinematography looked pretty okay.
Acting, as far as I could judge, looked pretty decent!

Keep us updated! Will you take it to festivals? Go to production houses?

I'm actually writing a feature now too, with 3 struggling young people, but it will look completely different, and as I'm busy with other projects now too, I doesn't always has priority.

hey Ivo, so you're done with the film? Great. I agree a bit with the comments of mathieu i suppose. I think the problem with this trailer is that, like you said yourself, it doesn't say much. After seeing the trailer you still don't know what it is about. It doesn't pull you in the story, and makes you want to see the film.

It looks good though, and I like the colors. When is the premiere (if there is one)

Succes with it
