Mack Fisher July 25th, 2007 05:51 PM

What kind of lense did you use. Im not totally up on the alternate lenses for the XL.

Did you do some colour correction in post or is that as is?

Stunning

Beautiful Cinematography.

Can't wait to get my own 35mm adapter :D ...

Was this planned or did you just shoot it on a whim?

Either way, great job all around.

I've often said we make our own good luck in this video game, but Lady Luck sure smiled down on me last weekend. As the guests were tucking into their wedding breakfast I thought I'd set the Z1 up and get a shot of the marquee against the grey skies of evening.

Well, here's what happened. I was going to simply timelapse the grey skies, but unknown to me I was exactly on axis with the setting sun, and when slowly the sun broke free from the clouds it illuminated them beautifully from underneath.

This is at 4200x on the timeline. It lasts all of 14 seconds.

Hey, Tom. I think you just jacked this thread. Not exactly proper forum etiquette, (lol) anyway, nice footage from both of you.

Tom Hardwick July 31st, 2007 12:50 AM

Yeah, sorry Eric. I apologise.
