Does anyone here who owns the US version know if you can change it from NTSC to PAL (30fps to 25fps etc), like you can with the a6000 ?
Sometimes you can but the marketing based specifications won't say that.

I don't think so. I have the PAL (AX100E) version and the only other option regarding frame rate is switching to 24p. No 30p at 4K and no 30p, 60p or 60i at 1080p. My PAL Cybershot HX400V has all the frame rates.

Not sure. You can switch the US X70 between PAL and NTSC. However, I bought an RX10 from an amazon seller here in the UK and had to send it back because it was the US version and was NTSC only. However, the European version can switch between PAL and NTSC. As can the European version of the CX900.

Hopefully someone with the US version can check for you as I've found some of the specs on the Sony site to be a bit off with these cameras.

I have the U.S. version and no, you cannot select any frame rates other than 24, 30, and 60.
