Re: Which editor should I move to?

Yeah I should mention I'm on PC and I do use a PXW-X70 (hence the posting here and not in the editor forum) Thanks for all the input. I shoot in XAVC in both HD and 4K. Excellent feedback here!
I do like the way Premiere works, but CS6 doesn't support XAVC (at least the version on the X70)
Not too keen on transcoding all my footage as it will take significant time and space to transcode the 5-6 hours of footage that I normally capture. Wspecially as I have hundreds of short clips.

I do my coloring/grading and trimming of clips in DR 12 (SLog from FS7) and then use Edius for the rest of the process with transitions and titling.

I use the X70 as a backup cam - especially in traveling where the FS7 would give problems with local prohibitions against using "professional" video cameras and the XAVC-S (4K) runs very smoothly in both DR12 and Edius.
