Ervin, have you applied this yet? Did you use the CA installer you linked to? There's been an issue with the US installer.

Edit: I can report that the US updater, despite being in a folder named FS7 rather than X70 (!) works just fine. The instructions specify using the Sony Multi to USB cable that came with the camera, although some have found that generic cables work, but not always. I couldn't find mine but successfully used the cable that came with my Sony RX10 (mk I).

Also remember to save your Camera Profile before doing this if you have anything at all that you've customized - PPs, Buttons, etc. - so you can restore it after.

No, I have not applied the update, and probably won't do it until I get confirmation that it works fine... I'll let others be the Guinea pigs...

Just used the UK file on a US purchased X70. Update went perfect. All is good.

Except,...I forgot to save my camera settings before the update,...again! I did the same dumb thing on the last FS5 update, lol,....so I had to re enter my settings again.

I guess I was too excited to get it loaded that I forgot to backup settings.
