B&H just sent me an alert they are in stock and ready to order...no update on my preorder though, so not sure if Santa will be able to deliver on time.

In stock but no store pickup yet. In stock usually means in store pickup is just days away.
Given my location I'd be able to get it by the 27th.

Local user group I go to had one and shot some video showing the difference between SDR and HLG. This was at AbelCine NYC so they had gear to show it with.

B&H status now shows as PREORDER and COMING SOON again, not IN STOCK. They also have not shipped mine yet, so not sure what is going on over there.

They may have just received a small shipment that only covered a few pre-orders.

Something like that happened when I pre-ordered my EX1. Seeing this with other companies as well, I find it easier to wait until they're actually available for walk in purchase even if you're buying online.

I preordered on 12/20. Since 12/21, the order status has been: In Stock, Order Sent To Warehouse.

B&H has always been a pretty efficient operation, so I assume holiday volume has them backed up and my camera will ship next week.

I pre ordered mine right when it went up on B&H. (within the hour) Got mine in my hands on Thursday.

The AF is CRAZY awesome on this thing. I just wish Sony didnt play games with the SLog on it.

Sold my X70 3 months ago. I am SOOOOO glad to get out of .MXF and back into .MP4.

.MP4 plays out so much easier than .MXF. (good riddens)

NX80? I HATE the MXF files, I SOOOO wish I had the option of XAVC 4:2:0 mp4 on my X70...nothing worse in ENG than super extended FCPX import and export times. Other than bringing highlights down on certain clips, I never need to grade or color correct my X70 footage. Unfortunately, they make the fast XDCAM codec a $500 paid option, and my required live streaming doesn't work when in AVCHD mode.

B&H now showing In Stock again. Order Today Ships Tomorrow.
Still not available for Store Pickup though so it may just be another small shipment.
