a600 mp4 file corrupt...

I recorded a speech today and was trying out my new a6000 (used NX5U for main camera) and when I got back to the office I noticed the last file didn't seem to write to the card correctly and seems to be corrupted.

Does Sony have any software for the MAC that will let me repair and download this .mp4 file?

The card companies normally have recovery software. Sandisk and Lexar have been pretty good at this.

Re: a600 mp4 file corrupt...

Thanks for the info.

I was able to get the file off of the camera while connected via usb. The file only had issues on the card via my card is reader. In over 10+ years of doing video this is the first time I have ever seen this.

Weird but good to know the file was alright via the camera.
