Possible to record to 2 sources with Sony Mirrorless?

Guys, don't kill me ;) hehe

Coming from the C100 and appreciate the dual SD card recording which allows me to back up my work as I film it.

Is there any third party options to record to two sources (SD & SD or SD & External Hard Drive) that you can think of with the Sony A7S / R lines ?

I really love seeing the quality from this camera, I wish Canon was as sharp with killer ISO !

Any external recorder connected to the HDMI output will work for you... Odyssey, Shogun, even a NanoFlash . If you want to record on two cards internally you obviously need a camera big enough to have two card slots...

Hey Dave, thanks ;)

Will the external recorder record in addition to the memory card slots?

Unfortunately no. It's one or the other.

Using my A7s and Nanoflash I often record to both simultaneously for green screen work -- though I am recording in HD (1920x1080/30p) and triggering the Nanoflash manually since C-D never updated the firmware to accept time code over hdmi.
