New Sony 24-70mm f/2.8 G FE Lens to be Announced Soon!

A 24-70 f2.8 however I have heard around the $2,000 which is plain stupid. This would be my dream lens as I have the F4 and have to switch to a faster lens for wedding evening receptions so this would fit the bill, but at that price and especially if it has the same crap manual focus as the F4 NO WAY!

If it was around $1,000 then maybe but that's still more than my Tamron 24-70 f2.8 and my Tamron resolves a nicer image than my Zeiss!

What are Sony thinking?
