PDAF for video? LAEA3 & Metabones IV

I've got an A7II and even though it rocks for stills with the metabones and Canon glass, when it comes to video it only supports contrast detect AF and it's veeery slow. Can anyone confirm if the same happens with the LAEA3? If the LAEA3 supports PDAF in video mode with the LAEA3 then I'll probably sell the 2 Canon lenses I have and just stick with Sony/Zeiss.
