Metabones changing fstop by it self

Not sure if this is the place I should be posting this, but here it goes.

Guys, I have the latest firmware of the Metabones Smartadapter IV and I've had some serious issues on my last jobs.

Issue 1 - the fstop changes by it self while filming. Lets say I set my lens to f4 and I'm happily shooting something...from time to time the fstop goes to f1.4 and then it comes back to f4 in a mater of seconds. This, of course, gets recorded...which renders the adapter useless.
Issue 2 - The Canon 85mm 1.8 used to work wonders on my Sony A7II using phase detection af...now it hunts back and forth A LOT.

I've written the Metabones support team but it's been a while and I haven't heard from them.

This is a MAIN work tool for me and I need to have this fixed ASAP!

I've had phantom aperture changes when using 3rd party battery grips and the A7sii and A7rii. Solution was to use the Sony genuine battery grip or us a non- electronic aperture lens like Rokinin.

As Keith pointed out, are you using a third-party grip? If not, what version specifically are your running on your Smart Adapter IV? V0.52 from the tail end of June? Are you in Advanced Mode or Green Mode?
