2 Scene File Questions

Anyone else have problems downloading the scene files at:

http://bssc.sel.sony.com/Broadcastan...eneFiles.shtml

Also- am I reading the manual correctly in that the only things that can be saved as scene files are Paint settings and Shutter settings?

I downloaded them with no issues when they first became available.

Dan,

sometimes when you download scenefiles their extension changes from .scn to .txt. If the extension is changed, change it back to .SCN Put them in the right directory (see the Sony site) and enjoy.

Did you download on a Mac or PC, Greg? What browser? When I download on a PC using Internet Explorer it works fine. On a Mac with Safari it doesn't work.

Downloaded them with Safari. Right click and select "save linked file as'. In the dialog box, you'll see Safari wanting to append an extra extension of .txt to the file. Just delete that part and you'll wind up with the .scn file. Rinse and repeat for remaining files.
