Wouldn't it be nice....

... if there was a way to pre-assign the gain switch to automatically trigger one of the Low Noise settings? Or is there?

Greg Boston February 27th, 2008 06:14 PM

Nope, and I already tried the other alternative... assigning NR to one of the assignable switches.

I put it on page 1 of my user settings. That way I can access it very easily, along with all my other daily use settings.

user settings are most overseen.

Its huge benefit to put the most important settings there.

I realize using the manual gain switch to trigger low noise settings could be dangerous but the ability to assign NR to one of the 4 assign buttons could certainly be done. Version 1.94 Sony???

However, I am missing MORE Assign Buttons!

;-)

I´ve placed ~8 functions on the first user setting page that I like to have accessable.

functions are

cache rec
cache rec time
assign sw1
assign sw2
turbo gain
low noise mode

Would like to put the FAM/AVC there to (always looking for the right page number...), but doesnt work.
