PDW-F330/F350 service manual - anyone?

I'm looking for a service manual for PDW-F330/F350.
Not that I need one for the moment, but it might be good to have - I'm a quite handy man :)

If someone has the service manual as a PDF-file, I'd be very greatful to have it.

Thanks in advance!

Seems like I need the service manual quite soon... :)

I'm trying to update my firmware (one by one). At the moment I'm still at my first update to PKG-1.62/AT-1.53. The camera is PDW-F330.

I've followed the instructions and have come to a point where I'm stuck!

The instruction now says:
"11. You will need to power off the camcorder and remove the memory stick before opening the left side panel (one that contains the LCD display). The camcorder will need the “Service” menu enabled. This is done by setting section 1 of dip switch S501 of the DCP-37 card to the ON position. Then close the side panel. This information is also found in the service manual at the beginning of section 4."

Ehh... Where do I find these DIP-switches? I can't see any...

Okay... I got it. I had to unscrew four screws that holds up the whole left panel of the camera. A service manual should be handy anyway :)

I found this thread:

This tells that the procedure with opening the camera and use the DIP-switch should NOT be necessary. Hope this info is ok! :)

I have found the PDW-F330/F350 Service Manual Vol 1 & 2.
PM me with your e-mail address if you want a copy!

would the manual cover the PDW-F335 ?

Joachim Ljungquist January 27th, 2010 04:26 AM

I'd say yes and no... These are for the F330/350.
I assume that it's mainly the same hardware, with minor changes. But I do think that these manuals would help a lot.

I also have service manuals (vol 1 & 2) for PDW355 if it would help.

I have a feeling that the PDW-F355 manual also covers the 335, could you check the first pages to see?

Joachim Ljungquist January 27th, 2010 05:21 AM

Oh, yes - sure did!
Send me your e-mail and I'll get the manuals to you.

I will use a file transfer service called "WE Transfer" because the files are about 30 MB.

thanks for that, I got it :)
