Redeye 82mm Wide Angle

Has anyone used a Redeye 82mm wide angle on their broadcast lens?

I used to own one and use it on my old DSR-500. It was a good emergency wide angle. Primarily for locked off shots. Did the job, but still a screw on adaptor at the end of the day.
