Re: Can Not Change Master Black

I know on my pdw-350 sometimes i had to spin the dial way more than i thought i would have to. I know it doesn't make sense but give it a try.

Re: Can Not Change Master Black

You were spot on Marshall. It takes three full turns to go from 0 to -1.

Thank you Marshall

Re: Can Not Change Master Black

That is the only setting that takes a while for this to kick in. I wonder if it's Sony's way of saying that they don't want us to change this!

Cheers

Strange but that could be it. For the new scene file I sent you can change the Master Black now to -2.

Re: Can Not Change Master Black

be aware that the setting is effective also "between" 0 and "-1" - each single step of the rotary know lowers (or lifts) the black a bit. Its a matter of not showing values between thousands but -99 to +99...

Re: Can Not Change Master Black

No sure what you are saying. -2 seems very nice in most outside shooting light.

Re: Can Not Change Master Black

Hi Paul,

-2 is fine. I just wanted to claim that all "steps" BETWEEN single values (0, 1 etc.) already take effect.
