Looking for a plate/bracket.

I need a plate for use on my HD200UB. I need something that comes out from the tripod bolt to either the rear (behind the AB battery pack) or to the left of the camera that I can attach the MRC1K to.

Any ideas or suggestions if such a plate exists?

The MRC's cradle attaches to a standard accessory shoe, so would something like this work?

Or this?

B&H has many different variants of this sort of thing.

Lee, I'm unfamiliar with your camera but we have had a plate made for our Z1s which fits beneath the cameras. It retains a tripod mounting point including a registration hole for the tripod plate and mounts the MRC1 upright at the rear and to the right of the camera. I'm doing a photo shoot of the gear for an ebay posting within the next couple of days and will Pm a copy to you if you wish.

Finally, there is a Sony plate that does the same thing (perhaps a tad more elegantly) for £100.

Hi Philip,

I own an FX1 as well and would love to get a "proper" bracket for it if you have any idea where mate?

Ps, I'm originally a 'Manc' lol
