Does the HC1 have to be in a certain mode to capture?

I am trying to capture from my HC1 (it is recognized by XP and Vegas), but it only captures using DV mode, not the HDV/SD mode. IS there a setting in the menu for the HC1 that I should have set? Thanks

My A1U is in the shop so I working from memory. Assuming you recorded in HDV, you should check settings in the Standard menu.

VCR should be set to HDV.
i.Link Conv should be set off.

Hope that helps. I'm guessing the HC1 menu is similar to the A1U in this case.

Good Luck.

Great, I think that the I.link must have done the trick!
