Where can I buy a component cable for my hc1?
 

I am looking for a component cable for my hc1. I can find the cable with the s video cable and composite connectors (which I already have) but can't find just the component cable to hook directly up to my tv.

I tried to find a part number for that in my manual, but nothing came up. I also couldn't find anything on the Sony Parts website, but I copied the contact info for their part dept. Give them a call and they can tell you what is necessary. I'm not sure if the newer ones with HDMI connections also have component ports. If they do, I wouldn't be surprised if they still use the same cable.

I also one on Amazon for about $36 -- a Sony VMC-30VC cable. The lone review says it was used for an HDR-HC1 so it should do the trick.
