Ken Katagari, the PS chief said that PS3 will be better for editing than the competing OS'.

If someone can get the uncompressed HD, after mild compression, into hard drive, can get real rich real soon.

Ronald, sounds good, I wasn't aware that Dynebolic will port so easily to other Linuxes (it is among those many many links I haven't checked yet). As long as the software shares processing between DSPs and other processors (like CELL has) than we should be sweet.

With Playstation 3 there might be additional problem in setting up at least two drives. With camera head interface too, unless we use Sumix camera with compressed Gig Ethernet..

Screen shoots are good help. I know what to look for and approx brightness of midday sunlight and indoor lighting, as a reference.

Tech Doc good.

If your saying take out HC1 lens and put adaptor instead, I think we can make do with external adaptor, opening a sealed unit and popping the warranty would be tricky.

Keep an eye of the Home Made HD Cinema Cameras - Technical Discussion thread, we can discuss this there.
