PortaBrace is making some nice add-on covers

Check out the rain slicker and the snow cover. Only problem is that they are very expensive for what they are, but are made to fit snug.

How to make a rain/snow/dust cover for a camera for $5 in 2 minutes or less.

Go to Home Depot, buy thick -clear- plastic painter's drop sheets, long cable ties, and heavy duty elastic bands.

Wrap plastic around camera, secure in places you will not need to acess with cable ties (lens/handle,etc).
Use elastic to secure areas around places you will need to access (battery/tape door, etc...)
Operate controls through plastic sheet.

Enjoy!
