Has Any Posted Indoor Footage
 

Searched on "indoors"...22 posts...no footage.

There have been some comments that these cameras work a lot better with a lot of light. I would like to see some indoor footage without professional lighting.

Download the 720p one. It runs fine in-brower with Safari... probably have to "Save Target As..." over the picture in IE.

Dan, that short is amazing! Excellent job! The narration was spot on for me. What camera was that filmed with?

Thanks...could you elaborate on the camera and setup (setting, filters, etc.) How was it converted to 720p?

It looks hand held. Some of the whites look blown out and some of the dark areas look a little grey and grainy. Was that intentional?

The camera is a Sony HVR-A1U. I used Final Cut Pro to capture it, HDV - 1080i60 setting. I didn't use any CinemaTone or CineFrame settings. Black Stretch was on, and the exposure was set to manual the entire time. I did blow out the colors with Final Cut, increasing the contrast and then putting different tones over everything. I used a honeydew green tint and a sky blue tint. The footage is all handheld. I did have a tripod, but I don't think any of the shots I used were done with it.

The audio was captured with an XLR mic. The camera did have the wide-angle lens on all the time, except for the plane shots. It was converted to 720p using Apple Compressor. Opening titles were created in Adobe After Effects.

I purposefully went over-board with the contrast, but I find you need to increase the contrast a bit with this camera. It makes your footage look a lot better.
