Sony VCL-HG0737Y wide lens & lens shades, etc

Just ordered the sony wa lens. It comes w/o shade or filter threads. Cavision sells their L77h specifically for this lens and it can hold a filter too.
Does this combo vignette at corners when zoomed all the way out? As an alternative, I'm going to try wrapping my matteblox(www.cinetactics.com) around the lens which doesn't need threads to attach, but I have no idea about vignetting. The good thing about this matteblox is that I can pull it back from the lens front which may eliminate the vignetting. another good thing is that I might be able to use my 4 x 4 filters with this combo .

we'll see in another day or 2.

It does not vignette at any zoom position. However, the lens isn't the best. First, it's made of soft rubber that doesn't hold it's shape well. What I mean is, it can sort of warp so its bowed in at some edges instead of being a straight edge (but still no vignetting). Another thing is that to attach it to the Y-lens, there will be a noticeable gap on one side as the screw pushes into the Y-lens side and pushes the sunshade out. This slightly distorts the proportion of the shade more. The shade does not allow for the lens cap of the Y-lens to be put on unless you take the shade off. The shade does not have anyway to be sure you have it on parrallel to the ground either, so when you slip it over the lens, the shade may e slightly tilted (you'll have to eyeball it). Finally, the shade comes with one filter thread (77mm), but I've heard you need to take off the shade from the lens to be able to screw on and screw off the filter. Otherwise it's a good shade. It looks like a 4:3 aspect ratio, which isn't the best, and also sunshades are supposedly only good at the widest zoom out angle.
