Yes, Please Lets make soney make an accesory for mic input on the HDR-HC3!
The squeeky wheel gets the oil. Sony will make it if they think they will make money off the product. What were they thinking leaving this out!~

Vote yes, for a mic input hot shoe adaptor for HDR-HC3!

The problem as i see it (purely from the point of view of the likelihood of Sony actually releasing an adapter) is that IF they did that, then they'd make some money from sales of the adapter, BUT they'd lose money from corresponding lack of sales of their own proprietary on-camera AIS-shoe external mics.

So if they DO make one (and i'm sure if they were going to, they'd have done so by now) then i think they'd simply price it to cover their own predicted-loss-of-revenue from the drop in their own mic sales.

But i agree totally it would be nice. It's fairly typically Sony - effectively forcing you to purchase their own accessories.
