when comes the new generation of handycam with hd quality?
 

does anybody nows about a sony new model after the hc3? or who long it usually takes them to put new models in the market? im looking for a tape camcorder not a dvd or internal hd ...

They just put out the FX7. If you're looking for a tape based Sony HDV camcorder, on the consumer side, there's the FX1, the FX7, the HC3, and if you can hunt one down, the HC1. On the pro side, there's the Z1, the A1, and the forthcoming V1. Other than that, your guess is as good as mine as to when Sony's next HDV camcorder might come. But, if I had to guess, I figure Sony's next step would be to try to offer a HDV Palmcorder to compete with Canon and Sanyo's HDV palmcorder offerings.
