Upside Down And Backwards!! Help~
Hey All,
Fairly new (as a poster, anyway). Just a rookie question spawned from what is probably a rookie mistake, which in turn is probably spawned from my rookie knowledge. When I render my project (wheter it's avi, mpeg, etc)...I try to play it and it is PERFECT...except that it's upside down and backwards. Short of shooting me a mapquest link to one of the many "dyslexic-equipped" movie theaters we have around the country...does anyone know what I'm doing wrong? Thanks. |
Fred:
You did say what editor you are using, but I'll take a shot in the dark. I am guessing you are using system shared with others, and that one of the others set up script or a preset in the editor to flip the image because it was shot using a 35mm adapter attached to the camera. That would mean their footage has to be flipped. You are apparently picking up that preset. |
Hey Crhis,
Thanks for responding. Actually, I'm using Vegas 6.0. I don't have any adapter attached to the camera, it's just a plain ole HVR A1U shot in native 60i. For some reason, every once in a while it comes out upside down and backwards. I will re-render it and it will be fine the next time. I am clueless. |
Fred,
a Vegas forum would seem a better place to get advice, I seriously doubt it's a camera issue. There's one here and several others as well as the official Sony Vegas site. |
Thanks Bob. I'll check them out.
