Tripod: Giotto RHD 124 or Sony VCT-D680RM?

My HC7 is in the way and I am shopping a tripod for it.
I am considering between the Giotto RHD 124 and the Sony VCT-D680RM. They both have remote control but the Giotto has more controls i.e. focus and even forward-reverse search.
Much appreciate your advice!
Thanks a lot.
