It's not on their website yet but I have one so I know it exists (except on mine the tag reads RS-HD1000). I'm sure they can get you one if you give them a call. Not exactly local to you, but...

Edit: here's an alternative version I found on their website. Not sure if it's newer, older or just different from the other one.

Edit: just heard back from PortaBrace and they will not be going into production with the blue version shown at the first link. Apparently I got a sort of pre-production version but they decided it was too expensive given the cost of the camera. The black version (second link) is the one they'll be selling, I'm told; given all that I'm guessing it will be cheaper.

I like my Kata RC-10. It's been out in some fairly horrid weather since I got it and the camera has stayed dry throughout.

Yes there is a new product to Sony hd1000, i email porta brace and get answer:

"We did change it based upon customer preference and pricing. The black QRS-
model is the correct one.

Porta Brace, Inc."

How about other photo's of this product

It would be nice if they could show some other views of this raincover.
Hard to judge-it by just a side-shot.
Anyone else got some pic of the porta-brace in action?
