35mm adapters & focusing

how do you focus with a 35mm slr lens and an adapter like this:

http://www.letusdirect.com/cart/Letu...s-p-1-c-5.html

do you set the 35mm lens on manual and the autofocus with the video cam? Or is it just manual foucs on both?

Lock the video cam to focus on the ground glass, you are then left to focus with the 35mm lens manually.

U have to lock the aperature to the max opened as well for more light due to some light loss inherent to such adapters. Basically there is a glass inside this adapter which is called "ground glass". The 35mm len focus an image onto the glass (its kinda frosted) and the camera focus on this glass to get the image. Due to the nature of the construction, the image is flipped 180Deg. U could chk out the top 3 indie brands now..

Redrock M2, Cinevate Brevis, Letus Extreme..
