Uploading V1 footage to the web

Hi I'm hoping someone can help me figure this one out:

I've been shooting some music clips to upload to a website using the A1 and the V1. I've noticed a significant difference in quality after uploading to Daily Motion. The weird thing is, the V1 footage once uploaded looks much WORSE than the A1 footage - much softer, much less accurate colours and shading.

I've output the A1 footage and the V1 footage exactly the same way, using the same program (compressor out of FCP, using h264). The A1 and V1 footage looks equally good after output in quicktime - if anything, the V1 footage pre-upload has less noise and more vibrant colours and more detail. The file sizes are approximately equal. I've tried using noise reduction, anti-aliasing, etc. to no effect.

Any ideas why the V1 footage would look so much worse online than the A1?

Thanks,

Jonathan

Please kindly share the web-link for both of your footage.

We upload several footage in to you tube, quality is about same in SD.
We use PP2 and resize for web with FLV.

I now have problem when upload the footage we shoot in HDV 25P
When burn into DVD (SD resolution) quite normal to client's eye.
Now I cannot upload the footage in you tube.
Tried to upload in local provider , done, but the result is not satisfied.
Still try to find out what is wrong.
