DV Info Net - Anyone used the FX7 for figure skating?

For fast motion up close, as I was saying, it depends on your skills very much and the settings, but you can get it to work for you and have great results if you learn the camera..

hi i notice from those screen grabs that it is outdoors bright light therefore i take it the iris is quite small..ie good depth of field.even with nd filters on the vx would be giving me a hard time if i was trying to get a shallow depth so im sure the v1 has an even deeper depth of field due to the chip sizes.therefore a manual focus would prob be possible and so i would agree. but indoors low light possibly different ..just a thought..but next time im down the rink i will give it a go..cheers john
