Is anybody else using a Nanoflash with a V1?

If so, what picture profiles are you using? I want to figure out what settings are going to give me the least noise and best overall picture.

Ron, just read the entire thread on the nanoflash on th CD forum. It costs £2800, as much as a V1 originally did! I am hoping you are noticing significant improvements to your final edited output (to DVD or bluray) using the nanoflash with your V1 as compared to plain old HDV? Thanks

Absolutely, the picture is much better. I was just hoping someone else had done this and had suggestions about the best settings in the picture profile. I guess I will just have to experiment with the different settings paired with the Nanoflash.
Yes I am aware of the price and this is not the first time my judgement has been questioned. I plan on buying a new camera to go with the Nanoflash I am waiting for the right camera. Until then I am using the V1.

Yes, audio is in HDMI , and it is before compression so it sounds great.

Using an external monitor with nanoFlash?

As I understand it, you cannot play back the nanoFlash through the V1's LCD monitor. Right? So, are you trusting that the take was good, or are you mounting an external monitor onto the V1 for verifying the take?

I use an external monitor when I can, and when I can not I also roll tape.
