Want a telephoto lens for FX7
 

Can/would anybody care to recommend a good telephoto lens for the FX7? I would like to get at least half again as close to my distant subject, without spending most of my SS check.

The 2x Century converter is extremeely good, but very expensive. To make things worse, it is so heavy that you will need either rails or a DIY support for the front end.

Anybody else have any suggestions? I know the old adage; "you get what you pay for", but I am hoping that there is a lens out there that does a decent job without costing an arm and a leg. I can find lots of telephoto lenses on the web that are well within my price range, but I am suspect about their quality. So I will post my question again:

Is there a good telephoto lens for the FX7, which has good glass, that will not bankrupt me?
