How much bigger is the V1U's LCD screen, when compared to the one on the XH A1?

V1U has 3.5" screen, while the A1 has 2.8" screen. How many percent bigger is that?

Which one has better video quality? I shoot mostly indoor.

Thanks!

Just going by your post - The XH-A1's LCD is 80% of the V1U's Diagonal size. Or - The V1U's screen is 20% bigger when measured diagonally then the XH-A1's. Or... (again, going by your sizes and assuming they are both 16:9 screens)... The XH-A1's LCD has 64% screen area compared to the Sony V1U's LCD. Or... 1.56 times larger area then the XH-A1's.

Sorry i dont have either cam so i cant answer your other Q's but hope this helps.

Just thought I'd post the resolution of the screens as well just in case somebody was interested.

Canon 2.8" LCD 207k pixels
Sony 3.5" LCD 211k pixels

Sony is providing a LCD shroud for the V1 to enable use of LCD screen while shooting outside in strong sunlight.

The rather ornate surround to the Canon XHA1 LCD might make it more difficult to affix a similar shroud to Sony's.

if the v1 screen is as good as the z1 it is better for focusing in my personal experience than the canon one
