Hot Pixels with CMOS?

I've searched everywhere with no avail. Does anyone know if CMOS chips can suffer from "hot pixels" or "stuck pixels" like CCD's? If so, are there pixel masking techniques for them?

I don't know too much on the subject, but, yes, CMOS chips like CCDs can suffer from hot pixels and dead pixels for that matter. Some CMOS chips have a correction method in which the closest neighbor to the bad pixel in a way replaces it. I don't know the technique, but I've had heard of it.

I know in some digital still cameras they have what is called a DFS, dark-frame subtraction, which a dark frame is added to mask the hot pixels.
