Dust Under Lens FX1

I have one dust particle on the round lens that sits under the front glass on my new FX1...any way of getting that to free itself without sending cam in for 4 week wait?

I'm sure there is a way... but it would probably be a devastating disaster if you tried. That sucks man. I really feel for you. Dust is my arch nemesis. Best bet is to send over to Sony, or some other authorized repair shop.

"NEW" : if under warranty return for service.

"FRONT GLASS": you don't mean a UV filter, do you? If so that's easily removed.

In my experience you can get much faster servicing from independent authorised Sony mechanics. These are the guys servicing professional gear for people whose clients can't wait 4 weeks.
