Horizontal line through lower third of footage - looks like a digital error

Hi,

Just been looking through some recent tour footage shot with the FX1 and there is a strange horizontal line running through the lower third of all the footage - at first I thought it was a lens issue but they are mint - also the line seems to be influenced by the audio captured - a bit like a graphic equalizer - please take a look at the attached pics and if anyone has any ideas or experienced this before I would be grateful for your help!!

Thanks, Steve

This problem is either to do with the CCDs or the connection between the CCDs (that's if it's also in your captured footage). If it's not in your footage, it's to do with the component connection to your TV. How to check is to capture your footage or connect your camera via Firewire to a PC and view it via VLC.

After more investigation the line is present during filming or just viewing in CAM mode so yes it looks like a CCD problem - any advice from anyone on the best place to repair in the UK?
