The party's over?
The good Dr. Steve Mullen has written in this month's Video Systems mag that, "With 1080i, rapidly moving objects may break up into smaller blocks--an MPEG-2 artifact. With 720p30, rapidly moving objects will show strobing--an eye-tracking artifact." Maybe this is the Achilles heel the video manufacturers were looking for that will separate the HDV crowd from the higher-end HD? (Hey, there's GOT to be a major difference!)

Yeah the price ;) |
Hmmm...I saw that, too. Mullen did the test by up-rezzing a 720p clip of HDV to 1080i.
