I didn't get to look at the clips, but I did look at the stills. The compression on them are crap, so I really can't tell if they look good or not.

Not me. That's the first time I have ever seen the food clips or the bridge, lake etc. I have every HD file right here, never had those until I saw the clip on DVXuser forum this morning................ T

I just looked at the stills. They look pretty good. I have two observations:

1.) Like the JVC, they don't look as good as pictures from a digital still camera.

2.) Like the JVC, I see a tendency to blow the highlights, probably more slight.

I have a 10.5mb WMV-HD clip 720p from the JVC GR-HD1, if someone wants to host it.

I mention it due to the observation, the footage is similar the clips posted by Michael Pappas, that is to say, the clip contains distant shots under similar lighting, color, natural setting, and quite comparable in many respects.
