during capture, clips are in multiple parts...anyone?
like 1 scene that should be 1 file, ends up being like 3 or more (sometimes 8) seperate smaller files...
this only started to happen recently...any ideas? |
the only reason I can think of is the hard drive you're capturing to is set up as a FAT32 and there is a limit of 4gig to that. So a clip of longer duration would be divided into 4 gig clips. Like I said that's the only thing I can think of but it could be something else although I don't know what else it could be.

i don't think so because even the biggest file is just 1 gig. most of them are like all under 500k in size.

No possible way to answer this without knowing what software you're using and your settings.
Some NLEs have a checkbox to start a new scene every time there's a dropout or timecode break/error. Yours could have gotten checked accidentally. |
